The Distribution Tech team’s mission is to empower global brands and platforms to unlock unforgettable travel experiences for their customers by making it easy to integrate GetYourGuide’s world-class activities into their own ecosystems. Your mission

• Design and develop scalable systems that are easily integrated by other companies and used by millions of customers

• Mentor and teach other team members, contribute to team culture, and raise the performance bar

• Work in a cross-functional mission team with engineers, product managers, designers, and data specialists

• Continuously improve our codebase, systems, and processes

• Find opportunities to help the team meet and exceed cluster goals

• Collaborate in an international environment

Your toolkit

• 5+ years of software development experience

• A strong background in designing and implementing scalable service-oriented architectures and a good understanding of design patterns

• Proficiency in Java/Spring and the ability to build features from scratch

• Experience in defining and tracking data to facilitate customer-centric decision-making

• A positive, pro-active, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge

• A passion for delivering clean code and continuously learning about new tools, languages, and practices

• Be excited experiment with and leverage AI

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
