Senior Software Engineer- Data Platform

We’re building the next generation of data platforms to provide the highest quality data to AI and GTM space. Our team provides the solid foundation of the data store that powers all the ZoomInfo products. As such, we are transforming how business leverages the data through innovative pipeline development, monitoring systems, and analytics dashboards.

As a Senior SW Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will contribute to data storage layers that store all the customer data that can be used for analytical, AI/ML training and online inference, and real-time UI product use cases.

The role is perfect for someone who has data platform experience and has passion to solve complex data problems while working in a culture that values transparency and collaboration. What you will do:

• Work with scalable data pipelines handling terabyte-scale data

• Work with both data pipelines and microservices to handle data processing

• Partner with cross team customers to produce high quality datasets

• Partner with Tech Ops, Data Analytics, and Product teams to deliver high-quality solutions

• Develop new skills as you push your knowledge, and our technology, to new levels

• Work with the data monitoring systems to ensure accuracy and performance

What you bring:

• 6+ years of industry experience, B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

• 6+ years of experience with Java and Python

• 3+ years of experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics

• 5+ years of cloud experience a must

• Hands-on experience with kafka streaming and batch data processing

• Experience with Java/Scala programming

• Medium SQL knowledge

• Experience in building and scaling big data solutions

• GCP expertise (AWS exposure a plus)

• Passion for developing excellent software and continuous improvement.

• Strong desire to seek pragmatic, innovative solutions to complex business and technical problems.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams.

• Nice to have: Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow.
