As a Senior Software Engineer on the Connectors Platform Team, you’ll play a key role in building products that help our customers ingest, transform, and enrich their data with AI, making it simple to integrate into Algolia.

The Team & Platform

The Connectors Platform Team builds and scales the services that bring our customers’ data into Algolia, reliably, securely, and at scale. Our work touches:

• E-commerce: powering real-time integrations with Shopify, Commercetools, BigCommerce

• Data Connectivity: connecting to sources like JSON, BigQuery, Supabase, MySQL, and beyond

• Data Transformations: allow customers to transform their data as it flows into Algolia

• AI Enrichment Pipelines: enhancing data to improve search relevance

We run on Go, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud, with an engineering culture built around reliability, performance, and simplicity.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and scale distributed data ingestion services serving thousands of global businesses

• Drive improvements to system reliability, scalability and throughput

• Champion engineering excellence in testing, observability, and performance

• Mentor teammates and help evolve the engineering culture as we grow

You might be a fit if you

• Bring proven experience building and operating high-traffic production systems.

• Have strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Google Cloud

• Love the challenge of designing resilient systems that handle high-traffic workloads

• Care about writing high-quality, tested, maintainable code

• Communicate clearly and collaboratively in English
