Senior Software Engineer- Cloud Native Protection

About Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions. You'll be expected to take ownership of significant features, mentor junior team members, and drive technical excellence within your team. This position requires a strong technical foundation, a problem-solving mindset, and excellent collaboration skills.

What you’ll do

• Take full ownership of projects from design to implementation, test, deployment, and ongoing operations.

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable, highly available cloud-native services for data protection and recovery.

• Build and operationalize protection for Kubernetes, SaaS applications, and public cloud workloads.

• Implement cloud-scale APIs and microservices leveraging native cloud services (storage, IAM, networking).

• Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of cloud-native protection systems.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver impactful features.

• Diagnose and resolve complex problems in cloud and hybrid environments.

Experience you’ll need

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and cloud-native design patterns.

• 6+ years of experience in building scalable enterprise or cloud software.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python.

• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and native services.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.

• Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and REST/gRPC APIs.

• Strong interest in solving complex technical challenges in cloud-native and data protection domains.

• Experience with storage, backup/recovery, or security solutions is a plus.
