Senior Software Engineer - clinical software (x/f/m)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Health Observation stream in our Clinical domain.

As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission will be to work on a modular, robust and scalable virtual patient file, adapted to the needs of all kinds of health professionals that use our solution. The team is also responsible for the consultation flow. This team plays a central role in our product ecosystem and serves as a crucial capability for Clinical & Financial product scalability, like opening new healthcare specialties and new countries.

Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with product, design, and business teams.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement features to improve healthcare access for patients

• Take a leading role within the team and contribute to establishing a technical vision that ensures the performance, security, and usability of the application

• Bring your expertise and experiences to help us continuously improve the way we design, implement, test and monitor high-quality features

• Improve the performance of key features implemented in Node.js/typescript

• Collaborate on delivering roadmap items (together with the team)

About our tech environment

• Our solutions are built on a single fully cloud-native platform that supports web and mobile app interfaces, multiple languages, and is adapted to the country and healthcare specialty requirements. To address these challenges, we are modularizing our platform run in a distributed architecture through reusable components.

• Our stack is composed of Rails, TypeScript, Java, Python, Kotlin, Swift, and React Native.

Who you are

• You have at least 6 years of software engineering experience, including experience with React and/or Ruby on Rails

• You are proactive, curious, collaborative and eager to learn

• You have a good understanding of web technologies and software development life cycle

• You have a "user first" mindset and want to build a product focused on bringing value to its users, through secure, well-tested and pragmatic code

• You are very focused on code quality and have a rigorous testing culture

• You are eager to share your knowledge and help the team grow by pair programming and mentoring
