A predominant information technology company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Clojure or Ruby development skills to join their Chicago, IL based Product Development team!!

As a member of the Product Development team, you will play a critical role in the architecture, design, development, and deployment of web-based applications and services. You will be part of a high-visibility agile development team empowered to deliver high-quality, innovative, and market leading voice-of-customer data acquisition and feedback intelligence solutions. Candidate must have:

5+ to 7 years of experience

Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
Full stack, full life-cycle experience building dynamic, high-volume web applications
Comfortable in a thoughtful, agile environment with open code review, pairing, and retrospectives
Experience with AWS stack, Elasticsearch, Storm, Redis, Sentry, Clojure
Experience with Ruby on Rails development
Comfortable using test-driven development (TDD) practices
Experience delivering real-time, distributed systems in large scale production environments
Experience with design and development of externally facing RESTful APIs
Hands-on implementation experience with message-based (RabbitMQ, 0MQ or similar) and asynchronous

The Ideal Candidate:

Take a lead role in development of our consumer-facing web applications.
Development of scalable data collection, storage, processing & distribution platforms & services.
Architecture and design of mission critical modules to support a next-generation VoC SaaS platform and associated APIs.
Investigation, integration, and deployment of new and innovative open-source technologies and frameworks in coordination with enterprise architecture vision.
Collaboration with all members of the technical staff in the delivery of best-in-class technology solutions.

Salary 90++ D.O.E.
