Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with advanced proficiency in Python to lead the design, build, and maintenance of scalable backend services and automation solutions. You will take ownership of the full development lifecycle, leveraging AWS serverless architectures and modern engineering practices to deliver production-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities

•
Backend Architecture: Design and maintain robust RESTful microservices using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, and AWS Chalice.

•
Cloud-Native Development: Architect and support serverless applications on AWS, utilizing Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch, and IAM to build secure, production-ready systems.

•
Automation & Scraping: Develop advanced web and screen scraping solutions using tools like Selenium and pywinauto to automate complex workflows.

•
Engineering Excellence: Champion best practices including unit testing, CI/CD pipeline management, Git version control, and rigorous code reviews.

•
End-to-End Ownership: Manage the entire application lifecycle—from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and production support.

•
AI-Augmented Development: Responsibly utilize AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity while strictly adhering to code quality, security, and maintainability standards.

Skills and Experience

•
Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

•
5+ years of experience in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask and AWS Chalice.

• Deep experience in designing and maintaining RESTful microservices.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders, prioritize work, and build high-performing teams.
