Job Description

This role is for a strong Calypso engineer who can handle front-to-back implementation and work across risk (ERS), integration, and core platform modules. If “Calypso troubleshooting” is your cardio, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

• Implement and support Calypso across asset classes (Fixed Income, Money Market, IR, FX, Credit derivatives, Non-linear derivatives)
• Work on Risk Management (ERS) including Limits + VaR setup
• Build and enhance integrations for trade and market data feeds (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.)
• Troubleshoot Calypso modules at app/server/network level
• Contribute to API patterns and integrations via Open API / Open Banking-style patterns
• Support back-office workflows: static data, messages, transfers, settlements

Must-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of Calypso architecture + APIs (minimum version v15.2)
• Strong Java experience (1.7+): OOP, collections, multithreading
• Oracle PL/SQL + understanding of Calypso data model
• App server/build tools: JBoss, Gradle
• Integration experience: Open API patterns, market/trade data interfaces
• Functional strength in trading systems + risk concepts (ERS, VaR, limits, curves, market data)
