About This Role:

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team in Bangalore.

At Atolls, your role will be instrumental in building robust data systems that power our platform and enable smarter decision-making for millions of users. You will work on designing and scaling data pipelines and backend systems that directly impact how users discover, evaluate, and interact with brands.

As part of the team, you will contribute to creating reliable, high-performance data solutions that drive product innovation and business growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer, you will:

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and backend systems

•
Write clean, efficient, and production-ready code using Python and SQL

•
Work with large datasets to ensure data reliability, performance, and scalability

•
Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams

•
Optimize and improve existing data workflows and systems

•
Contribute to system architecture and engineering best practices

Your Profile:

•
3–8 years of experience in Data Engineering / Backend Engineering

•
Strong expertise in Python and SQL (mandatory)

•
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable)

•
Solid understanding of data systems and scalable architectures

•
Strong coding and problem-solving skills

•
Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-driven environment

•
Strong communication skills and good English proficiency

Bonus Points:

•
Experience with ClickHouse (highly preferred)

•
Exposure to distributed systems and modern data architectures

•
Experience with Spark (nice to have, not mandatory)

Important Note:

This role is strictly for Data Engineers (not Data Analysts or Data Scientists). We are looking for candidates with a strong engineering background and hands-on coding experience.
