Senior Software Engineer-Backend

We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about building scalable backend platforms and enterprise-grade cloud-native applications using modern AI-driven engineering practices.

This role focuses on developing secure, reliable, and high-performance backend systems used by customers globally, while leveraging AI throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC) to improve developer productivity, code quality, automation, and delivery speed.

What You’ll Do:
• Design and deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing backend capabilities supporting complex enterprise workflows and operational systems.

• Apply an AI-first engineering mindset to rapidly prototype, iterate, validate, and deliver solutions efficiently.

• Leverage AI-augmented workflows, automation, observability, and testing practices to improve software quality, accelerate delivery, reduce manual effort, and enhance operational reliability across the SDLC.

• Support progressive delivery practices, controlled rollouts, production stability, and continuous engineering improvement.

• Collaborate across Product, SRE, QA, frontend, mobile, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality customer-focused solutions.

• Strengthen engineering excellence through reusable knowledge sharing, documentation, ownership practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll bring:
• Around 5+ years of professional experience building backend applications and enterprise-grade software platforms.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Maven, and backend service development in distributed environments.

• Practical experience using AI engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Codex, Kiro, or similar AI-powered development platforms.

• Experience building cloud-native applications using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and microservices-based architectures.

• Familiarity with MongoDB, Redis, S3, DynamoDB, and real-time integration patterns across distributed systems.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab CI, Argo CD, DevOps practices, feature-flag-driven development, and progressive delivery platforms such as Split.io.

• Strong understanding of observability, production support, secure coding practices, service integrations, and modern Agile/Scrum engineering environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python for automation, scripting, AI-assisted workflows, or backend tooling.

• Experience with JavaScript, frontend technologies, and modern web application development.
