The Opportunity:
Join our Ledger and Recon Platform team, a critical component of Airwallex's mission to provide seamless financial management solutions. As an Engineering Manager in this dynamic team, you will build and scale key financial products and serve as a bridge between engineering domains and the finance division.

In this role, you will lead efforts to develop and enhance our internal ledger and reconciliation systems. Your expertise will help ensure accuracy, security, and innovation in our financial processes, and your understanding of accounting principles will facilitate effective collaboration with finance stakeholders.

What You'll Do

Develop and Optimize: Engineer sophisticated and scalable backend systems to manage financial data and transactions efficiently and securely.

Collaborate and Refine: Work closely with Product Management, Design, and other Engineering teams to enhance product features and functionality, ensuring our platform exceeds customer expectations and adheres to regulatory requirements.

Innovate and Implement: Use your product insight and data-driven feedback to validate and evolve product requirements, ensuring robustness and scalability.

Ensure Data Integrity: Implement and enhance data integrity checks and processes to maintain the accuracy and consistency of financial data.

Secure Development: Develop with security best practices in mind to protect user data and transactions from threats and unauthorized access.

What You Are
