The role:

As a Senior Android Engineer, you'll design and develop the next generation of our high-performance SDK. You'll write robust code that works seamlessly across 150+ device types and configurations. Collaborating with partners on their SDKs while leveraging our own multi-format ad technology. Additionally, You'll work closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to turn ideas into reality.

What you’ll do:

• Take ownership of the features that you build and ensure a high level of user experience

• Contribute actively to the Android engineering discipline across the company by driving best practices in architecture, modularization, testing, and engineering workflows.

• Participate in and contribute to the team’s Agile practices

• Champion privacy, security, and reliability in all Android features and user data interactions.

• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks in business workflows and design low-latency, highly efficient solutions.

• Utilize modern Android development tools (Jetpack, Kotlin, etc.) to build clean, scalable, and maintainable code which impacts 400 million users

• Leverage your knowledge of Ad tech APIs, SDKs, and mediation platforms to optimize ad delivery and monetization.

What you bring in:

• 6+ years of experience in Android development with Java, Kotlin, Coroutines and Dependency injection.

• An extensive, hands-on experience with modern Android application development tools and libraries incl. application lifecycle, asynchronous server communication, and UI components.

• Familiar in ad tech concepts, platforms, and best practices (e.g., mediation, bidding)

• Excellent problem solving skills and proactiveness to tackle challenging problems

• Excellent in designing and architecting high scale Android applications.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

• Sound knowledge of testing framework like junit, mockito, roboelectric and espresso.

• A mind-set to get things done while maintaining high standards by shipping high quality code.

• Monitor and optimize application performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to functionality, responsiveness, and resource usage.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, gRPC

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience in ad tech concepts, platforms, and best practices

• Experience of Jetpack Compos
