Celigo is looking for a passionate and driven Senior Software Engineer II (SSE2) who loves coding and building impactful solutions. Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and Node.js is key, but if you’re a highly talented developer excited to learn, experiment, and take on new challenges, we’d absolutely love to hear from you!

What would you do if hired?

• In this role, you will design and build backend features for the integrator.io platform, leveraging modern technologies to enable seamless integrations across leading cloud applications such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Google, Amazon, Magento, and more.

• Design and deliver scalable, high-quality backend systems using Node.js, MongoDB, AWS, and Kafka, applying strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design.

• Quickly ramp up on new technologies, systems, and business context, demonstrating a fast-learning and proactive mindset.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical discussions, and bring new ideas to improve systems and processes.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Abilities

• A 5–8 years experienced engineer from a product-based company with a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design principles, and software design).

• A hands-on developer with strong proficiency in Node.js, MongoDB, AWS, and Apache Kafka.

• An exceptional problem solver who can design simple, scalable solutions to complex problems, including building systems from scratch.

• A fast learner and self-starter who can quickly adapt to new technologies and take ownership without constant supervision.

• Someone with a genuine passion for technology, especially cloud-based systems, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

• A proactive team player who thinks big, brings new ideas, inspires others, and consistently strives for results.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of experience in software engineering roles, only from product-based companies.

• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, design principles, and software design.

• Hands-on experience with Node.js, MongoDB, AWS, and Apache Kafka.

• Experience building scalable backend systems and solving complex problems end-to-end.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with evolving priorities.
