Scope of Role

Celigo is looking for a Senior Software Engineer from a product-based company with experience in a relevant field to join one of our Platform teams.

You will be part of a team of highly talented individuals committed to offering the best quality services and products in the area of business cloud computing (SaaS). In this position, you will design and develop features for the Integrator.io platform using cutting-edge technologies that will allow integrations between business apps for users of cloud systems. You will be involved in implementing core application logic, designing and developing a wide array of high-traffic, highly-scalable based platforms and applications.

What you’ll do

• Deliver good quality code adhering to established coding standards.

• Work with technical architects to implement and design highly scalable, available applications to support the future growth of the company.

• Should foresee scalability issues and prevent/resolve them at the earliest opportunity. Call out any risks and red flags.

• Write unit tests with good code coverage.

• Work following Agile development methodologies using various related tools, like JIRA.

• Participate in planning, architecture, and design discussions and reviews.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for coordination, planning, design decisions, and reviews.

• Participate in backlog refinement meetings and contribute to the backlog refinement and estimations.

• Sprints planning and delivering as per the commitment.

• Participate in daily standups and team meetings.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Masters/bachelor's degree required in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering, or Equivalent discipline (EEE, ECE).

• 4-7 years of software development experience from product-based companies in a relevant field.

• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design principles.

• Experience with JavaScript and Node JS is a huge plus.

• Some familiarity with modern technologies like MongoDB, Kafka, Amazon AWS and distributed caches will be a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent understanding of the SDLC, preferably Agile.

• Strong ability and eagerness to quickly learn new technologies.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

• Must have good collaboration skills.
