Job Summary

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (JavaScript) (20100), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using JavaScript to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure proper test coverage.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.

• Analyze test results, identify defects and work with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong experience in test automation using JavaScript.

• Experience working as an SDET, Automation QA Engineer or similar testing role.

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test strategies and quality assurance processes.

• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools for web applications.

• Experience creating and maintaining automated test suites for frontend and backend systems.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into continuous integration environments.

• Basic knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, APIs and client server architecture.

• Experience working with version control systems such as Git.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and troubleshoot defects.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
