About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade Copilot solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Power Platform. In this role, you will act as a fusion developer and technical lead, bridging low-code capabilities with pro-code extensibility, secure integrations, and governance best practices. You will play a key role in shaping Copilot strategy, enabling internal makers, and ensuring solutions are secure, performant, and production-ready.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain Agents in Copilot Studio (custom and generative topics, trigger phrases, dialog flows, fallback and human handoff scenarios)

• Integrate Copilots with Microsoft 365 and enterprise data sources (SharePoint, Dataverse, Databricks, ServiceNow, Confluence, Azure functions)

• Architect and implement Power Platform solutions (Power Automate flows, custom connectors)

• Act as a technical advisor and mentor for internal makers and teams

• Gather and formalize requirements, translate business needs into Copilot use cases, and maintain clear technical documentation

• Define and enforce governance and security standards (environment strategy, Role-Based Access Control, Data Loss Prevention policies, compliance requirements)

• Analyze and improve Copilot performance using analytics and conversation insights (unsuccessful queries, fallback rates, scenario optimization)

• Leverage existing APIs and services to extend Copilot and Power Platform solutions when needed

What You’ll Bring

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform

• Strong understanding of LLMs and prompt engineering (system vs user prompts, context management, reducing hallucinations)

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture, permissions, and security models

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to iteratively improve conversational scenarios

• Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical solutions clearly

• Experience with Microsoft Foundry

• Experience integrating Copilot Studio and Power Platform solutions with external systems using REST APIs and Azure Functions (authentication, parameters, JSON payloads)

• Experience with Power Platform governance, environments, and compliance

• Familiarity with Copilot deployment best practices, integrations, and enterprise rollout patterns

Bonus Skills

• Backend engineering or platform development

• ML/Data Science, model fine-tuning, or custom LLM training

• Kubernetes

• Python/.NET development experience
