Minimum Qualifications

• B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 6–8 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java and related technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading technical teams in product development environments.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring (Core, MVC, Boot), Hibernate/JPA, REST API development.
• Experience in JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React.js, TypeScript, jQuery) along with HTML5/CSS.
• Good exposure to cloud platforms (AWS – S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Git) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Database experience with SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL (query optimization, performance tuning).
• Good to have: familiarity with Python, Node.js for backend microservices.
• Strong focus on software quality, scalability, performance, testability, and security.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum-based product development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to drive solutions end-to-end.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across teams and stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Provide technical leadership to the development team, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable product features.
• Drive design and architecture discussions, making key technical decisions for complex modules.
• Mentor, guide, and review code from team members, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery – from requirement analysis to deployment and support.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security through reviews, automation, and testing strategies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and QA to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, proactively addressing challenges.
• Champion adoption of modern tools, technologies, and DevOps practices for productivity and quality improvements.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and bring in relevant innovations to the product.
