To further expand and strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Airport Product Engineering team. You become part of a team dedicated to working with our CrisBag product, and together with the team, you’ll bring tomorrow’s automation solutions to life.

Contribute to the development of complex software solutions

Joining the team, your focus will be to lead the design and implementation of complex software solutions, break down system architectures into manageable modules, and drive new functionalities from concept to delivery.

Success in this position involves acting as a technical role model, and mentoring colleagues, while continuously improving our products and processes.

Your key responsibilities involve:

• Drive the implementation of entire new functionalities, either independently or by leading a small group of Software Developers.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and act as a technical role model within the team, fostering the professional growth of your colleagues.
• Have an overview of the solution, identifying areas for possible improvements and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead the analysis, design, estimations, and prototyping for new product ideas.
• Ensure and facilitate peer reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.
• Demonstrate leadership by effectively communicating and collaborating with colleagues at all levels.

You’ve likely taken on mentoring colleagues, guiding technical decisions, and helping shape the direction of a product or platform. Experience working across different cultures or international teams is also highly valued. From a technical perspective, you’re an expert coder who writes clean, efficient, and scalable code. You have a deep understanding of software architecture and design principles, and you know how to turn great ideas into robust, working solutions.

Moreover, we hope that you bring the following qualifications to the job:

• A degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid experience with micro-service architecture, containerization and Docker.
• Solid experience in JAVA.
• Advanced certifications in software development or emerging technologies are a definite plus and will help you stand out.
• Several years of professional software development experience, with a strong track record of successful projects.
• You possess strong experience in product development, with a focus on quality and innovation.
• Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
