POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join Nexera’s engineering team in Egypt.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical software solutions that support global clients across various industries. As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design through to testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other developers to ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions

· Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design decisions

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables

· Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices

· Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

· Handle issues, bugs, inquiries, studies and other projects as needed by our analyst team and customers.

· Ensure high standards of security, reliability, and maintainability

· Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to existing systems

REQUIRED / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIO

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

· 5+ years of professional software development experience

· Strong proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, PHP, C#, .NET, Java

· Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)

· Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices

· Familiarity with version control systems (Git or similar)

· Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills

· Experience with AI driven development tools and techniques (CoPilot, Cursor, etc)

· Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)

· Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

· Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

· Experience and enthusiasm for data pipeline development & ETL/ELT processes.
