Job Description
Grounded in a talent-centric mindset, Maker Lab is a marketing agency designed to build decentralised technology-led agency teams, rooted in collaboration with clients from the ground up. Maker Lab’s cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies — from measurement & analytics to content production.
Role Summary:
As our Senior Social Media Manager, you will take full ownership of the content roadmap, community engagement, and organic growth strategy. By blending creative intuition with rigorous optimisation, you will maximise reach and build a highly engaged, loyal subscriber base from the ground up.
You will play a pivotal role in bringing this technology to life for a global community of developers and businesses. Your mission is to architect and execute developer marketing strategies that transcend traditional social presence. You will engineer conversations that build momentum, driving deep brand resonance and long-term loyalty for the suite of products.
Role:
• Strategic Content Mapping: Architect and maintain a rolling 30-60-90 day content roadmap that aligns with brand objectives and emerging developer trends.
• Production Synergy: Partner with cross-functional production teams to ensure all assets meet rigorous best practices and hit delivery milestones.
• Execute end-to-end publishing workflows, crafting high-CTR titles and deep-dive metadata strategies that balance "searchability" with "clickability" to dominate Search and Suggested feeds.
• Performance Intelligence: Conduct daily deep-dives to synthesise data into actionable creative pivots.
• Growth Iteration: Lead A/B testing frameworks for thumbnails and titles while staying ahead of algorithm shifts and emerging platform features.
• Community Cultivation: Act as the strategic voice in the comments and Community Tab, fostering a high-loyalty environment and translating audience sentiment into insights for the creative team.
• This role requires proven expertise in maximizing audience growth and discovery on premier video content channels, ensuring strong alignment with overarching client developer marketing strategies.
You:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in growth marketing
• Extensive experience in social media content creation, including mastery of SEO tools and video editing.
• Strong analytical capability to interpret performance data and optimise retention strategies.
• Exceptional copywriting and communication skills, with a focus on translating complex concepts into engaging, user-friendly messaging.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and maintain strong relationships within a collaborative agency-client model.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work confidently without close supervision.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
