Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for a Server Developer to join our Shanghai team. This position includes working on development of the WOT Blitz project.

Reports to

Technical Director, WOT Blitz

What will you do?

•
Maintain and improve World of Tanks Blitz game server functionality

•
Integrate the World of Tanks Blitz game server with internal services of Wargaming

•
Develop new gameplay and core features

What are we looking for?

•
Min. 2-3+ years of experience in commercial C++/Python development

•
Strong knowledge of classical algorithms, data structures and design patterns

•
Proficiency in C++ or Python

•
Knowledge of server technologies, network protocols and databases.

•
Ready to work most of the time with Python.

•
Systems thinking and strong self-organization skills

What additional skills will help you stand out?

•
Experience with multiplayer game server development and real-time systems

•
Background in high-load client-server applications across full development cycles

•
Exposure to mobile development

•
Experience in the gaming industry and passion for creating games
