We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Security Coordinator (SSC) to provide crucial on-the-ground support in our Brazil operations. This role will focus on physical security, investigations support, executive protection and crisis management. The SSC will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of local operations, especially related to stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and communicative individual with an understanding of security principles, strong administrative skills, excellent computer proficiency, and fluency in English.
The SSC will have the following job functions and responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure that all demands will be supported as required, therefore meeting all rules and regulations.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of security-related tasks and projects as directed.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and databases related to security and administrative functions.
• Support the implementation and adherence to company security policies and procedures.
• Facilitate communication and information flow between local teams and headquarters, including translating documents and communications as needed to the local language.
• Support the Executive Protection during logistics for meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
• Ensure that all office supplies and other necessary resources will be available as needed.
• Support the onboarding process for new employees or contractors in Brazil, as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, directing them appropriately.
• Utilize computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, databases) effectively to manage information and generate reports.
• Perform other administrative and security-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Physical Security with knowledge in Executive Protection and Crisis Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese (fluent proficiency required).
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite, Slack and other relevant computer applications.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Proactive and resourceful with a strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving responsibilities.
• Experience working in a multinational company.
• Familiarity with security protocols, systems and procedures.
• Corporate security management experience in Brazil.
• Ability to manage relationships with public security forces.
