Senior SDET

As a member of the Everbridge Engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of modular, extensible, and reusable test cases/scripts. In this role, you will be integrated with an engineering team and will partner with other team members to drive quality best practices into the application development process and have ownership to the work. Promoting continuous improvement, you'll identify opportunities to maximize the customer experience and reduce the test cycle time by improving techniques, and tooling, eliminating waste, and creating a collaborative, proactive approach to quality.

‪What you'll do:‬:
• Design, Plan and Implement manual & automation testing for new features, interfaces, and applications.
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers in small scrum teams to deliver high-quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Develop automation test frameworks, and tools, and maintain test environments.
• Estimate QA efforts, and analyze and communicate test results. Identify any potential quality issues, as per the defined process and escalate as required.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, release velocity, and production health. Be the champion for product quality.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, promptly delivering support to resolve production issues outside standard working hours as required, ensuring minimal impact on customer experience.

What you'll bring::
• 8+ years of experience in testing enterprise grade/highly scalable, distributed applications, products and services.
• Experience with Python or similar programming language for test automation.(Python preferred)
• Must have experience in API test automation using Pytest, RestAssured, etc or similar tools.
• Exposure to Frontend automation using Selenium,Playwright etc.
• Experience in leveraging GenAI tools to generate test cases & Automation test scripts
• Experience with one or more version control systems such as Github, Gitlab etc.
• Experience in database technologies (SQL and NOSQL)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to learn new skills/technologies quickly
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps concepts is preferred.
• Familiar with containerization and related technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
• Have a Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or related major
