Drive Cultural Transformation and Team Excellence
As a Senior Scrum Master (Agile Coach), you are more than a facilitator; you are a catalyst for change. Your mission is to cultivate high-performing, self-managing delivery teams while serving as a strategic mentor to the wider Agile community. You will embed Agile principles into the DNA of our delivery process, ensuring we don't just "do" Agile, but "be" Agile.
Your Mission:
Beyond guiding your direct teams toward consistent customer value, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our Agile maturity. You will act as a bridge between strategy and execution, mentoring other Scrum Masters and actively shaping a resilient, growth-oriented delivery culture.
Your Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Excellence
• Empowerment: Coach teams to embrace shared ownership, self-organization, and a growth mindset rooted in psychological safety.
• High-Impact Facilitation: Lead Sprint events (Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) that are purposeful, outcome-driven, and engaging.
• Continuous Evolution: Use data-driven insights to help teams inspect and adapt, refining processes to improve collaboration, velocity, and predictability.
Organizational Impact & Mentorship
• Mentorship: Act as a "coach for coaches," supporting the professional development of other Scrum Masters and helping them navigate complex team dynamics.
• Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with Team Coaches and Project Managers to manage cross-team dependencies, capacity planning, and delivery risks.
• Community Building: Support and Drive the Agile agenda by contributing to internal communities, knowledge-sharing forums, and cross-pollination of best practices.
Your interests and skills
• Proven Track Record: At least 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in software product delivery.
• The Mentor Mindset: Demonstrated experience in coaching and upskilling other Scrum Masters or Agile practitioners.
• Facilitation Mastery: Advanced skills in conflict resolution and alignment, with the ability to navigate high-pressure environments.
• Toolbox Versatility: Deep knowledge of various frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and proficiency in Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence).
• Analytical Rigor: A strong understanding of delivery metrics and how to use them to tell a story of improvement.
• Credentials: PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
• Education: A degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field is a plus.
• Linguistic Proficiency: Fluency in German and English.
Who You Are
• A Servant Leader: You find professional fulfillment in helping others grow and succeed.
• A Culture Builder: You thrive in feedback-rich environments and empower others to take initiative.
• Adaptable & Purpose-Driven: You focus on the "Why" while remaining flexible on the "How" as circumstances evolve.
