Senior SAP BRIM Analyst

The Senior SAP BRIM Analyst for Pricing Engine is a hands-on design and delivery expert responsible for the end-to-end configuration and management of the pricing and charging logic for all Zoox Robotaxi services. You will be the primary functional owner for SAP Convergent Charging (CC), translating dynamic, real-time business models (e.g., distance, time, traffic, congestion, surge, personalized offers) into robust, scalable, and audit-compliant charging plans.

In this role, you will: :
SAP Convergent Charging (CC) & Pricing Design (Primary Focus) Pricing Strategy Translation: Partner with the Commercial, Strategy, and Data Science teams to translate complex, dynamic pricing models (e.g., real-time surge, zone-based pricing, mileage/time minimums) into technical SAP CC master data, charging plans, and pricing logic. Rate Plan Management: Design, configure, and maintain all core pricing elements, including charge plans, price plans, tariffs, tiers, recurring charges, and usage-based logic within SAP CC. Real-Time Charging: Ensure the SAP CC engine can handle high-volume, real-time event-based rating and charging events generated by the robotaxi fleet (e.g., trip start/end, mileage, wait time, geofencing data). Testing and Validation: Lead unit, integration, and UAT testing for new pricing models to ensure revenue accuracy, working closely with the Engineering team on event data mediation and integration. End-to-End BRIM Solution Leadership Integration (Mediation to CC): Collaborate with middleware and data engineering teams to define the structure, enrichment, and mediation of raw usage data before it is consumed by SAP CC. Convergent Invoicing (CI) Support: Work with the CI team to ensure charged items flow accurately from CC, are aggregated correctly for customer billing, and reflect all applicable discounts and promotions. Subscription Order Management (SOM) Alignment: Ensure the CC configuration aligns with product/offer definitions and subscription contracts managed in SAP SOM. Financial Integrity (FI-CA): Validate that the complete Order-to-Cash process ensures correct billing, revenue recognition, tax determination, and seamless posting to Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA). Governance & Continuous Improvement Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive functional specifications, design documents, and configuration guides for all pricing models and CC system settings. Performance: Monitor and optimize SAP CC performance and scalability to handle projected hyper-growth in transaction volumes from an expanding robotaxi fleet. Troubleshooting: Act as the Tier 3 technical resource for complex pricing, rating, and billing issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective changes.

Qualifications :
7+ years of hands-on, functional experience in SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM). In-depth configuration and design experience in SAP Convergent Charging (CC). Proven experience in designing and implementing high-volume, usage-based billing models. Deep understanding of the complete SAP BRIM stack: CC, CI, SOM, and FI-CA integration points. Strong functional and technical understanding of system integration, particularly with mediation layers and consumption data sources.

Bonus Qualifcations :
Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and a cloud-first technology environment. Functional knowledge of related modules like SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR). Familiarity with autonomous vehicle or mobility-as-a-service business concepts. Ability to read and debug logs/traces to support developers (e.g., ABAP or Java in the CC context). SAP BRIM Certification
