Senior SAP Basis Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Senior SAP Basis Consultant 8+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the experience in analysis and design of SAP Implementation Projects.

As part of the SAP Basis team, you will be part of the SAP Global Solution Tech team. The goal of this function is to support in L3/L4 the US and EU SAP landscape. Among many others, Basis team is responsible for upgrading the SAP landscape and gradually migrating the on-prem environment to the cloud (Azure). You will report to SAP Basis Team Lead and work in CET Timezone.

Responsibilities:

• Identify needed system corrections/enhancements and recommend changes

• Liaise with IT functional owners on project requirements and manage tasks on the Basis side

• Advise on systems’ capacity planning

• Apply advanced system management principles, concepts, and techniques

• Ensure change control is effectively implemented for all changes – including risk management and back out planning

• Provide subject matter expertise in technical and process discussions with extensive knowledge and transfer those to junior team members

• Prepare reports, justification, and support documentation

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on implementation and support experience working with S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP ERP 6.0, SAP BW 7.5, SAP PO 7.5, SAP Fiori Front-End- Server 6, SAP SRM, SAP CAR, SAP SLT and Solution Manager 7.2 technology in AIX-DB2 and SLES environment

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA and BW/4 HANA Migration to Azure.

• Experience in managing SAP landscape on Azure (Installation, Update, Upgrade)

• Good knowledge of DRP Solution (Suse Cluster, Pacemaker, etc..)

• Performance optimization of application and HANA DB

• Performance tuning and troubleshooting (ABAP, JAVA, HANA)

• Experience in SAP BTP (Troubleshooting Skills, Backup/Restore/HA, Guidelines for new setup)

• Experience in SAP BAS (Business Application Studio) in BTP

• Ensure the System/client copy and system refresh process (NetWeaver & S/4 HANA

• SAP NetWeaver administration and technical core tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, applying Support Packages, patches and fixes, installation of add-on software components, workload analysis, etc.

• Proficiency in Identity Access Management technologies, including SSO, SAML, ADFS, SSL, and SNC

• SAP SCC (SAP Cloud Connector) experience (Setup new system, Setup Trust, Troubleshooting connectivity issue, Lifecycle Management)

• Experience in SAP FIORI (OData configuration, troubleshooting)

• Experience in SAP HANA XSA (Design, configuration, setup, troubleshooting)

• Professional experience and understanding on complex IT landscapes and their implications

• Current understanding of best practices regarding SAP system security measures
