Job Summary

The Senior SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Lead is a critical leadership role responsible for

guiding the Enterprise IT Business Intelligence team in designing, developing, and

maintaining enterprise-level reporting and planning solutions. Serving as the strategic

bridge between Finance and Technology, this role leverages deep technical expertise in

SAC, advanced data modeling, and team mentorship to deliver actionable insights,

optimize financial planning processes, and drive data-backed business decisions across

the organization.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of SAC developers and business intelligence analysts who
• collect requirements, create FSDs, and develop models and reports.
• Gather advanced reporting and planning requirements from Business users.
• Translate reporting requirements into a Functional Specification Document (FSD), which
• outlines the fields, calculations, and objectives of the SAC report(s) and model(s).
• Test and validate the database views developed by the data warehousing team to
• ensure seamless integration with SAC.
• Architect and develop complex data models, dimensions, hierarchies, and calculations
• exclusively in SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Create dynamic, interactive reports and analytical applications in SAP Analytics Cloud to
• meet complex business requirements.
• Maintain models, dimensions, and hierarchies in SAP Analytics Cloud, ensuring queries
• run successfully, performance is optimized, and reports are functioning correctly.
• Drive progress against timelines, manage team capacity, and serve as the primary
• technical point of contact for executive stakeholders and business sponsors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Intelligence experience, with heavy emphasis and proven expertise
• building enterprise dashboards and planning models specifically with SAP AnalyticsCloud (SAC).
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership or senior capacity, guiding technical teams andmanaging project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S4/HANA data structures, tables, and fields, with experienceestablishing live and acquired data connections in SAC.
• Proficient in advanced SAC functionalities including Data Actions, Advanced Formulas,and cross-model data mapping.
• Proficient in JavaScript and building custom widgets and analytical applications using
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) App Design / Analytics Designer.
• Additional experience with HANA Data Warehouse (DWH), Power BI (PBI), Databricks,and Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts/tools is a strong plus.
• Strong proficiency in query languages such as SQL.
• Experience in Accounting & Finance roles or supporting financial planning and analysis(FP&A) processes.
• Bachelor’s degree.
