Senior SAP ABAP Developer

InPost has revolutionised e-commerce parcel delivery in Poland and is now one of Europe’s leading OOH e-commerce enablement platforms. Founded in 1999 by Rafał Brzoska, InPost provides delivery services through our network of almost 60,000 Automated Parcel Machines (APMs) and almost 35,000 pick-up drop-off points (PUDO) in nine countries across Europe, as well as to-door courier and fulfilment services to e-commerce merchants. InPost’s lockers provide consumers with a cheaper and more flexible, convenient, environmentally friendly and contactless delivery option. 

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer who will be responsible for designing and developing new SAP functionalities, as well as collaborating with cross-functional SAP teams to optimize system performance. This role plays a key part in ensuring the continuous evolution of internally developed SAP solutions with a strong focus on quality.

Your responsibilities:

• Architect and design complex ABAP solutions with a focus on scalability, performance and maintainability
• Develop and maintain high-quality ABAP code in line with best practices and coding standards
• Design and implement advanced integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems
• Proactively identify, analyze and resolve technical challenges in existing systems
• Drive improvements in development processes and coding standards
• Estimate effort and timelines and take ownership of delivering complex features
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Refactor existing code and fix defects
• Write and execute unit and integration tests

Analyze system performance and optimize existing solutions

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer
• Strong foundation in software engineering (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Hands-on experience with modern ABAP programming techniques
• Deep expertise in at least two SAP modules (e.g., FI, RE-FX, SD, MM, CO)
• Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations
• Experience working with SAP HANA
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
• Ownership mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
• Fluency in English & Polish

Nice to have:

• Experience in building user-friendly interfaces using modern SAP frontend technologies (e.g., SAP UI5, Fiori)
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
• Experience with RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP), enabling the development of scalable, service-oriented applications aligned with modern SAP architecture
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and Integration Suite, including designing and implementing integration flows between cloud and on-premise systems
• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere
