Senior Sales Manager – Tieto Banktech

We are growing and are now looking for a Senior Sales Manager to join Tieto Banktech and our Card Services business unit. Tieto Cards delivers scalable, modular Card as a Service solutions and leading software built on deep industry expertise, helping financial institutions accelerate their digital transformation. 

 

You will play a key role in driving growth and executing our international expansion strategy. 

Your responsibilities

As a Senior Sales Manager at Tieto Banktech, you will:

• Be overall responsible for the go-to-market strategy in selected markets
• Proactively prospect, hunt, and close new clients
• Own forecasting and consistently deliver results
• Act as the negotiation lead in sales and contract processes
• Work as part of a non-hierarchical, passionate team with a strong collaborative culture
• Receive strong support from product, marketing, legal, and project teams to execute the strategy
• Enjoy flexibility with a high degree of responsibility 

 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who brings both drive and professionalism. Ideally, you have:

• A university degree or similar educational background (an advantage, but not mandatory)
• Strong technical and commercial understanding
• Experience with, or solid knowledge of, payments and card solutions
• Good understanding of the banking and financial services sector
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and results-driven sales mindset
• Fluency in Norwegian or Swedish, as well as English, both spoken and written

 

As a person, you are a team player who takes initiative, demonstrates accountability, and is able to structure your work effectively. You are passionate about sales, motivated to make an impact, and never settle for “good enough.” You consistently look for solutions and see potential beyond expectations.
