Senior Safety Process Engineer

Job Description :

1. As the direct person in charge of all HSSE management at the oil and gas drilling, production and surface engineering construction site, and coordinating on-site risk control, operation safety, environmental compliance, emergency response, and incident investigation etc.

2. Implement the HSSE system, supervise and ensure that risks and controls of each phase of drilling design, construction, completion, and oil and gas central processing facilities, are controllable.

3. Updates domestic and international HSSE regulations such as OSHA standard, organize internal audits, and rectify non conformities.

4. Conduct JSA to identify high-risk operations and develop graded control strategies for scenarios such as well control, high-pressure manifolds, and high-altitude operations.

5. Daily signing of work permits, review of construction plans, organization of safety meetings, review of contractor qualifications, , summary and reporting of daily safety status, tracking of unresolved hazards until they are closed, provide daily safety training, rectify and track hazards, conduct daily emergency drills, and investigate accidents.

6. Update emergency plans for blowouts, chemical leaks, etc., and and conduct root cause analysis for leading accident investigations, as qwll as propose process improvement suggestions.

7. Environmental pollution prevention: supervise the treatment of drilling waste liquids and the backfilling of cuttings to avoid groundwater pollution risks, and publicly disclose environmental monitoring data.

8. Other HSSE work arranged by safety section head.

Requirements:
Position Capabilities and Requirements (General) :

1. Full-time college degree or above majoring in oil, gas, drilling, or HSSE.

2. At least 12 years of HSSE management experience in the oil and gas industry.

3. Possessing a NEBOSH IGC certificate and having the ability to communicate in English with foreigners on site.

4. At least 5 years of drilling management and

5 years of integrity process on safety management experience, can conduct HZAOP independently.
