Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails developer who enjoys owning meaningful features, building reliable systems, and working in a mature, high-trust engineering environment.

This is an individual contributor role for an experienced backend engineer who cares deeply about code quality, testing, and long-term impact.

What You’ll Do
Own features from implementation to production within a well-defined product scope
Build and maintain robust Ruby on Rails systems used at scale
Work closely with product and other engineers to solve real user problems
Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and E2E)
Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing systems
Take responsibility for the quality and long-term health of what you build

What We’re Looking For

Required

4+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
Strong backend engineering skills and database experience
Solid experience writing and maintaining automated tests (including E2E)
Experience building and running production systems
Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership
Strong problem-solving mindset, you look beyond tickets
Experience with Web APIs
Availability during EMEA working hours

Nice to Have

Experience with React
CI/CD experience (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
Background jobs, AWS, or complex integrations
Experience with Capybara
