Senior Risk Consultant

What you'll do:
Position Overview

The Senior Risk Consultant is a domain expert responsible for delivering high‑quality functional implementation of the Regnology Risk Hub solution for financial institutions. This role blends regulatory and risk management expertise with solution configuration, client advisory, and consulting delivery.
You will work directly with clients to understand their risk frameworks, translate requirements into functional designs, configure Regnology Risk Hub modules, and guide institutions through successful go‑lives and regulatory compliance outcomes. 
 
Responsibilities:

Functional Implementation of Regnology Risk Hub
• Lead functional implementation activities for Regnology Risk Hub, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and functional testing.
• Translate regulatory and risk requirements into Regnology Risk Hub data structures, workflows, calculation rules, and reporting setups.
• Collaborate with technical teams on data mapping, integration specifications, and model setup.
• Perform hands‑on configuration for relevant Regnology Risk Hub modules (e.g., Credit Risk, Market Risk, ALM, Liquidity Risk).
• Support functional validation, client testing cycles, and end‑to‑end solution walkthroughs.
• Ensure solution alignment with regulatory frameworks such as Basel III/IV, EBA guidelines, CRR/CRD, and internal risk management policies.

Client Advisory & Risk Expertise
• Assess clients’ risk processes and design enhancements aligned with best practices and Regnology Risk Hub capabilities.
• Advise on regulatory interpretation and risk methodology as it relates to system configuration and reporting.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to guide clients through risk concepts and Regnology Risk Hub system functionality.

Project Leadership
• Lead implementation workstreams, manage stakeholders, and coordinate delivery across internal and client teams.
• Mentor junior consultants on Regnology Risk Hub functionality and risk methodologies.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Pre‑Sales & Internal Collaboration
• Support pre‑sales activities, demos, and RFP responses by providing subject‑matter expertise on risk and Regnology Risk Hub functionality.
• Work with product management to provide feedback on regulatory changes, client needs, and product enhancements.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in ALM / risk management (liquidity, market risk, credit risk)
• Hands‑on experience with risk management systems, ideally Regnology Risk Hub or equivalent risk solutions.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks such as Basel, ICAAP/ILAAP, stress testing, or liquidity and capital regulations.
• Proven ability to run client-facing workshops, gather requirements, and document functional designs.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

 
Preferred Qualifications
• Direct experience implementing Regnology Risk Hub (Risk, Finance, or Regulatory Reporting).
• Professional certifications: FRM, CFA, PRM, or similar.
• Understanding of risk analytics, model configuration, or regulatory reporting processes.
• Experience working in SaaS or enterprise software implementation environments.
• Ability to collaborate in global, matrixed teams.
