What you’ll do

• Collaborate with and provide assistance to the Head of Risk Management

• Oversight of market risk, liquidity risk and operational risk, monitor if exposures/KRIs are within limits and review of Risk limits.

• Run stress testing and Scenarios and communicate results to the Head of Risk Management

• Preparation of regulatory RM reports (Annual Risk Management report, ICARA, Recovery plan, Wind down plan, Capital adequacy report) as well as other related reports.

• Assist in establishing, implement and maintain adequate policies and procedures for the operation of the RISK MANAGEMENT function (RM) of the Company

• Assist to identify risks the firm may be exposed to, contribute to the assessment of these risks and mitigation measures, assist to monitor the related risk capacity within the prescribed appetite limits. Through Risk Assessments and RCSA process.

• Assist the Risk Manager and the Senior Management to establish, implement, and maintain adequate internal control mechanisms designed to secure compliance with decisions and procedures pertaining to the RM. Assist in the Risk and Control Assessment process.

• Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience. (Educating the board of directors about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks).

• Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company.

What you need to have

• Working experience in Risk management and/or Audit or Investment or Trading Risk teams

• Experience and/or knowledge of Risk practices across major risk types such as Business, Credit, Market, Operational, Interest Rate and Liquidity Risk. Risk Management framework (Identification, Quantification, Measurement, Mitigation of risks)

• Working experience and knowledge with prudential regulation e.g. Basel requirements for capital and liquidity, IFR, CRR/CRD, BRRD, MIFID, EMIR, ICARA, Recovery and Resolution, Risk Appetite framework and other reports related to Risk Management

• Experience/knowledge in data analysis, trends identification, result oriented, prioritization presentation and report skills

• Outstanding written & verbal communication skills – English is a must
