We want you for...:
Vulcan Energie Ressourcen GmbH is an innovative, fast-growing company in the field of sustainable lithium extraction and renewable energies. • You build, maintain, and validate integrated dynamic reservoir simulation models based on static geomodels, ensuring geological consistency and providing continuous feedback to geoscience teams.
• You perform history matching, predictive forecasting, and scenario modeling to support robust decision-making and long-term field development strategies.
• You support well delivery through pore pressure prediction, dynamic data analysis, and close collaboration with drilling and well engineering teams.
• You lead or contribute to integrated field development planning studies, evaluating well concepts, development phasing, injector–producer strategies, facility constraints, and reserves booking implications.
• You assess development options against technical, economic, and subsurface risk criteria in close collaboration with geoscientists, facilities engineers, and production technologists.
• You ensure high-quality, well-structured data management (Petrel lifecycle) and maintain data integrity across well, seismic, and reservoir modeling datasets.
Your profile:
• You hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• You bring ideally 10+years of professional experience in reservoir engineering roles across different development phases.
• You work confidently with industry-standard software such as Petrel/INTERSECT, tNavigator, Kappa Saphir, the PETEX suite, and PVTsim.
• You demonstrate a can-do attitude and team-player mindset, prioritizing team and company goals over personal goals.
• You communicate clearly and effectively, working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
• You demonstrate a high level of motivation, personal ownership, and a structured, reliable way of working.
• You are able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
