Location: New Delhi or Mumbai
Grok Global Services is looking for a talented, dedicated professional to be a New Delhi or Mumbai-based Senior Student Recruitment Advisor supporting the University of the Pacific (UOP) via Grok’s Program Office service. The successful candidate will primarily focus on executing undergraduate and graduate student recruitment activities across India. Duties will include training and supporting study abroad agencies, college/university staff and high school guidance counsellors, liaising and building relationships with prospective students and their families, helping to follow up with offer holders and execute conversion strategies across India, and other in-market activities as required.

The successful candidate’s duties will include the provision of:
Dissemination of information about UOP, including undergraduate and graduate-level programs offered to various stakeholders;
Localized regional promotion and brand-building activities;
Build and nurture relationships with study abroad agencies and counsellors;
Build and nurture relationships with high school guidance counsellors;
Build and nurture relationships with other colleges/universities abroad;
Follow up with prospective UOP students throughout the recruitment cycle for conversion and yield generation, from initial enquiry to academic offer holders to UOP I-20 holders;
Collaboration with the admissions office for training/meetings;
Plan and deliver market activities that support UOP’s brand and reputation; and
Identify and share higher education trends, particularly those impacting student mobility and overseas education, with a particular focus on trends that may impact the USA as a study destination.
The position involves significant cross-cultural stakeholder engagement activities. This may include participating in both in-person and online/tech-enabled information sessions, meetings, and student education fairs. Significant domestic travel is anticipated (30-40%).
The Most Suitable Background
2+ years of experience in roles related to higher education, international education, or university placement services.
Bachelor’s degree with good to strong academic performance.
Experience representing a top overseas university would be an advantage.
Study abroad or overseas working experience in the USA would be an advantage.
English at a Professional Working proficiency.
Volunteering, or other life experiences that demonstrates creativity, hard work, persistence, and a drive to succeed.
