About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Recruiter with Technical (IT) Background to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who understands the technical landscape firsthand and is passionate about connecting top tech talent with the right opportunities.
You’ll be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening to hiring, for a variety of technical roles. Your hands-on knowledge of technologies and development practices will help you identify truly qualified candidates and engage them in a meaningful way.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and non-technical IT positions
Collaborate closely with hiring managers and technical stakeholders to define role requirements
Source and engage candidates using direct search, social platforms, job boards, and referrals
Screen candidates for both technical and cultural fit using your IT knowledge to assess qualifications
Conduct interviews and coordinate technical assessments when needed
Perform reference checks and manage background verification processes
Provide regular updates to hiring managers and stakeholders on recruitment progress
Draft job descriptions and advertisements; manage posting on relevant platforms
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of tech talent for current and future roles
Work closely with the HR team on onboarding and hiring logistics
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Background as a software developer or in a technical IT role
5+ years of experience recruiting and closing both technical roles (Backend, Frontend, Mobile iOS/Android, DevOps, QA/SDET, Blockchain, etc.) and non-technical roles (Marketing, PM/PO, Sales, Designers, etc.) within the IT industry
Strong understanding of software development roles, tech stacks, and IT terminology
Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, including proactive sourcing and offer management
Hands-on experience with direct search and sourcing techniques
Experience hiring across EU and UK markets, with knowledge of local documentation, compliance, and hiring requirements
Ability to quickly understand role requirements and assess candidate fit at a high level
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher
Nice to Have
General understanding of modern technologies, development methodologies, and industry trends
Experience building scalable sourcing strategies and long-term talent pipelines
Familiarity with sourcing platforms and tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow)
Experience working with ATS and HR systems
Knowledge of recruitment automation tools and LinkedIn compliance policies is a huge plus
