This role goes beyond filling seats — you’ll be recruiting the talent that drives OpenGov’s mission forward. You’ll operate with speed and intensity, partner closely with executives and hiring managers, and bring clarity, creativity, and judgment to every search.

• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to define role requirements, assess talent needs, and create clear hiring strategies.

• Source, engage, and close top talent using platforms like Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.

• Maintain tight operational rigor in candidate tracking, pipeline health, and data accuracy within ATS systems.

Strategic Talent Acquisition:

• Design and execute targeted recruiting strategies aligned to business goals, market conditions, and OpenGov’s high bar for talent.

• Partner with HRBPs, Finance, and leadership to anticipate future needs and enable workforce planning.

• Use market intelligence and data to advise leaders on talent availability, competition, and recruiting performance.

Data and Insights:

• Leverage recruiting analytics in Ashby to report on pipelines, conversion rates, and time-to-fill.

• Present data-driven insights to hiring leaders, highlighting areas to improve velocity and quality of hire.

• Ensure exceptional data hygiene and consistent reporting across systems to enable accurate dashboards and insights.

Candidate Experience:

• Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience that reflects OpenGov’s mission and values.

• Conduct thoughtful recruiter interviews and reference checks, using good judgment to evaluate both skill and cultural alignment.

• Represent OpenGov authentically as a mission-driven, high-accountability, and high-energy organization.

Compliance and Adaptability:

• Ensure all recruitment practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of a high-growth SaaS environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS or technology company.

• Strong experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.

• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership.

• Expertise in building active and passive candidate pipelines.

• Excellent phone and video presence and ability to qualify senior talent effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

Chicago, IL: $100,000 - $125,400
