Pinely is looking for an experienced Senior recruiter to own and perform end-to-end talent acquisition for high-impact research, trading and ml-related roles across our company. You will partner with business and scientific leaders to identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent - from data scientists to research scientists and quantitative researchers and many more. This role requires a strong understanding of both IT recruitment and research-oriented environments, including experience collaborating with R&D centers, academic institutions, and applied science labs. The ideal candidate is a strategic networker who thrives in complex, fast-evolving technology landscapes.
Responsibilities
• Provide a full-cycle recruitment for HFT trading, scientific, and research-related positions;
• Partner with leadership and hiring managers to define talent strategies that support the company’s innovation roadmap;
• Engage with academic institutions, research centers, and innovation hubs to source candidates from cutting-edge environments;
• Build strong relationships with lab directors and academy leaders to maintain a steady pipeline of specialized talent;
• Represent the company in conferences, and networking events related to computer science, AI, data, and engineering research;
• Oversee a smooth recruitment process: screening, interviewing, and offer management;
• Coach hiring managers on interview techniques and evaluation frameworks.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in recruitment in AI, data science, HFT, ML fields;
• Strong network in academic, research, or tech innovation communities;
• Solid understanding of technical skill sets and research competencies;
• Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder recruitment processes;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Experience working in cross-cultural or multinational teams
• Fluency in English.
