Senior Reconciliation & Settlement Analyst

mylo, the consumer finance arm of B.TECH, is revolutionizing the financial landscape, seeks a dynamic, results-oriented Senior Data Scientist. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decisions and shaping our future. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to unlock the power of data, build predictive models, and deliver actionable insights.

We are looking for an exceptionally talented Senior Reconciliation & Settlement Specialist to enhance reconciliation and settlement procedures across a wide range of financial partners, such as banks, payment processors, and internal accounts. This position demands extensive knowledge of financial operations, controls, and risk management to guarantee the precision, integrity, and efficiency of all financial transactions.

• Oversee and execute end-to-end reconciliation of transactions across payment gateways, digital wallets, and banking partners.
• Review and validate daily settlements using payment scheme files and internal records.
• Ensure compliance with settlement regulations and support internal and external audits.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports to enhance visibility and support decision-making.
• Monitor account balances and fund allocations to ensure smooth payment operations and minimize delays and costs.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve complex discrepancies to maintain financial data integrity.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Treasury, and Customer Support teams to resolve payment-related issues and escalations.
• Coordinate with the Chargeback team to efficiently manage dispute cases.
• Establish and enhance risk controls to detect and prevent discrepancies or fraud.
• Design and implement frameworks to improve reconciliation and settlement accuracy and efficiency for merchants and financial partners.
• Liaise with banks to resolve outstanding issues and respond to inquiries.
• Communicate with application support teams to report issues and suggest process enhancements.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in reconciliation, settlement, or financial operations within fintech, banking, or digital payments.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, payment schemes, and settlement processes.
• Proven expertise in payment processing, digital wallets, and financial reconciliations.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, or data analytics tools for managing large financial datasets.
• Experience with ERP systems, reconciliation automation tools, and financial risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance financial controls and implement best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
