How will you help us make an impact? 👩‍💻👨‍💻

We're seeking a React Native craftsperson obsessed with creating flawless mobile experiences. This isn't your typical mobile development role - we're looking for engineers who find joy in the details, from perfecting animations to diving deep into native modules.

You will be at the forefront of building government technology that can reach 100+ million North American citizens. You'll have the opportunity to work on brand-new mobile applications that require both technical excellence and creative problem-solving. It's a unique opportunity that allows you to push the boundaries of what's possible in mobile development!

Reporting to Gagan Singh, you will be key in supporting large-scale mobile initiatives with complex feature sets. In the day-to-day, you will lead technical design discussions and ensure our mobile applications maintain the highest performance and user experience standards.

As a Senior React Native Engineer at Clariti, you’ll get to:

• Own the development of our React Native mobile applications

• Lead performance optimization efforts to maintain smooth 60fps experiences

• Architect solutions that work flawlessly across iOS and Android

• Build reusable components and establish mobile development best practices

• Dive into native code (Swift/Kotlin) when needed to solve complex challenges

• Mentor other developers in mobile performance optimization

Performance Obsessed

• You have an uncanny ability to spot frame drops and won't rest until animations are buttery smooth

• You've mastered React Native performance optimization and have war stories about getting to 60fps

• You've built and shipped production apps that handle complex UI interactions without breaking a sweat

• You treat performance profiling as a daily ritual, not a last resort

Native Platform Experts

• You're comfortable diving into native code when React Native hits its limits

• You can navigate C, Objective-C, Swift, Java, and Kotlin codebases with confidence

• You've built custom native modules to solve unique challenges

• You have experience dealing with diverse hardware challenges across different devices

• Experience with mobile accessibility features

• Background in building government or enterprise applications

💰 The base salary range for this role is expected to be between $103,000- $160,000 based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications while considering internal pay equity and our broader pay philosophy. 💰

Travel- Although we operate as a remote company, all roles are expected to participate in occasional travel for in-person company-wide or departmental meetings, typically 1-2 times per year. Additional travel requirements specific to the role, if any, will be outlined in the job description.
