Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to support pre-contracts and tendering activities across electrical projects. This role is responsible for preparing detailed and accurate electrical cost estimates, analyzing tender risks and opportunities, and contributing to competitive, compliant bid submissions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in standardizing estimating processes, supporting commercial decision-making, and collaborating closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review electrical cost estimates and tender submissions, including labor, materials, plant, and time-based costs.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and construction documents to determine accurate project costs.
Critically assess tender and bid documents, identifying risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations against self-perform estimates.
Prepare tender forecasts, cost reports, and budget tracking tools.
Manage RFIs and clarifications with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Ensure estimates comply with legislative, commercial, and pre-contract requirements.
Provide technical input and support to the estimating team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or equivalent. or related field.
Minimum 8 -10+ years’ experience as Electrical Estimator or similar construction engineering role.
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or in a similar estimating role.
Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.
Experience preparing tender submissions and detailed cost estimates.
Experience in the construction or civil industry.
Exposure to FIFO or remote project environments.
High proficiency in MS Excel.
Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday - Friday, morning shift)
