Senior Quality & Compliance Manager

We are looking for a Senior Quality & Compliance Manager to lead and oversee all quality, security, and compliance initiatives in our Flossmoor, IL logistics and transportation operations. This full-time position is ideal for an experienced, hands-on professional who can independently manage industry certifications, regulatory standards, and continuous improvement programs. The role offers significant autonomy, authority, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a well-established logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage quality, compliance, and security programs across transportation and logistics operations in Flossmoor, IL
• Ensure ongoing compliance with TAPA, CTPAT, AMEX9, Bonded Carrier certifications, and ISO standards
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits to verify adherence to regulatory and industry requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to quality, risk, and security
• Monitor compliance with U.S. and international transportation regulations and best practices
• Partner with operational teams and leadership to identify risks, corrective actions, and process enhancements
• Act as the organization’s subject-matter expert on quality, security, and regulatory standards
• Maintain detailed documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:
• Proven experience with TAPA, CTPAT, AMEX9, Bonded Carrier Certification, and ISO standards
• Background in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or freight operations
• Skilled in leading audits and managing compliance programs end-to-end
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
• Executive-level communication and leadership capabilities
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
