We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Tester to join our growing team in Guatemala. The Sr. QA Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our web based projects are maintaining the highest levels of quality.
The Sr. QA Tester will contribute to the development, execution, and maintenance of test procedures that thoroughly test our web products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ATTRIBUTES
• Collaborate effectively with QA Lead on sprint planning
• Create test cases from approved documentation in QA Tool independently
• Execute various testing types for eCommerce web applications (functional, integration, UI, End-to-end, API) independently
• Create detailed bugs and track their progress through remediation for retesting and provide solutions where needed
• Provide daily statuses to QA Lead on project tasks and progress
• Communicate issues to QA Lead and Project Management that may pose any risk to quality or timeline or solution
• Learn and understand supported platforms and tools
• Assist with lower-level testers in understanding too and process, as needed
• Ability to multi-task across multiple mid to large projects
• Collaborate with team members across regions
• Design and execute tests for live production systems to support maintenance projects
• Interact effectively to clients with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with QA leadership on process updates and departmental documentation
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, production support, or technical support environments
• Experience working with eCommerce platforms including Adobe Commerce, SAP Commerce, etc.
• Solid proficiency in your ability to create and execute test cases independently
• Solid proficiency ability to create and execute test cases manual support
• Solid understanding of website QA processes, methodologies, and best practices
• Able to interpret results, identify trends and communicate findings appropriately
• Ability to perform testing against web-based applications both from the front-end UI as well as back-end databases and API`s
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in one or more defect tracking tool
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Experience with Performance and/or Load Testing types
• Experience testing third party extension testing
• Experience with any functional automation tool such as Playwright and Typescript
• Bachelor's degree within the technical field (i.e., Engineering, Computer Science etc.) or equivalent experience
