Senior QA Engineer - WFH #34961

Our client is an exciting, up and coming UK-headquartered software company founded in 2017 that understands the importance of creating and maintaining trusting relationships. They provide a market intelligence platform designed to transform traditional property agents into trusted property advisors. The company offers CRM, prospecting, market intelligence, property data and analytics.

They are one of the leaders in the market and they are growing at an exponential rate which they look to continue in the next 18 months. They are currently assembling their pioneering team of IT professionals in the Philippines and they are in search for a passionate, skillful, and self-motivated Senior QA Engineer who possesses excellent software testing skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for new features and existing functionality

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for API endpoints, including our Open APInplatform

• Perform thorough testing of complex integrations with property portals (Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket) and external services

• Conduct end-to-end testing of sales and lettings workflows within the CRM

• Validate webhook implementations, JWT authentication, and rate limiting functionality

• Write and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity and validate backend processes

• Monitor and triage production issues using error tracking tools such as Sentry and PostHog

• Collaborate closely with developers to identify root causes and ensure timely resolution of defects

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, test cases, and regression test suites

• Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and best practices across the team

Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test engineering

• Strong experience testing web applications and RESTful APIs

• Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or

• similar)

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent)

• Experience testing complex business workflows and multi-system integrations

• Knowledge of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

• Clear communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to diverse audiences

Advantageous Skills:

• Experience with C# or .NET for writing automated tests

• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and DevOps pipelines

• Knowledge of property industry or estate agency operations

• Experience testing webhook and event-driven systems

• Understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)

• Experience with performance and load testing tools

• Familiarity with Angular or front-end testing approaches

• ISTQB certification or equivalent

• Solid understanding of SQL and ability to write queries for data validation
