Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking an exceptional person to join our QA Team at MyHeritage. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of customer-facing applications. You will collaborate closely with developers and the product team in a fast-paced, dynamic agile environment, working towards continuous deployment and providing outstanding features to our millions of users.

What you’ll do

• Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle.

• Develop and execute testing strategies in a high-pressure environment.

• Create and implement comprehensive test plans for outstanding products and features.

• Develop automated tests based on requirements and maintain existing tests to achieve maximum coverage.

• Actively participate in our Continuous Deployment process, including testing, monitoring, and analyzing the alerts.

• Take ownership of all quality aspects, encompassing both manual and automation tests, and covering areas such as functionality, security, performance, usability, resilience and more.

• Keep stakeholders up to date with clear and informative quality metrics and test results.

What you bring

• Bachelor degree+ or equivalent practical experience in the area.

• At least 3 years of experience in QA testing web applications.

• Familiarity with automation tests framework such as Behat, Playwright, or similar — advantage

• Strong passion for testing and ensuring high-quality software.

• Practical experience in writing test automation.

• Proficiency in coding languages such as Ruby or Java — advantage

• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.

• Strong team player with leadership potential and a positive attitude.

• Ability to independently grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies.

• Demonstrated innovation, creativity, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

• Familiarity with AI-powered tools and a strong desire to explore and adopt emerging AI technologies (such as Cursor.ai, Lovable, Base44, etc.).
