You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality,
functionality, and usability of our mobile apps, web apps, and full-stack development projects.

Description:
Are you a skilled Test Automation Engineer with a solid background in test design and automation? Do you have hands-on experience testing large-scale applications, especially those involving Kubernetes, data technologies, and API testing with pytest? Are you comfortable establishing QA processes and implementing industry best practices on new projects?

Your Tasks:
• Champion a "Shift Left" Mindset: You will be a key voice for quality in planning and refinement meetings, collaborating closely with developers and product managers to build testability and quality into our features from day one.
• Own the Testing Lifecycle: You'll design and execute robust manual and automated test strategies for all aspects of the application, including functionality, performance, and security, with a special focus on the Android Automotive environment.
• Drive Automation Strategy: You will proactively identify opportunities for automation, lead discussions on implementation, and contribute to the development and maintenance of our automated test suites to increase efficiency and test coverage.
• Improve Our Processes: You will actively help modernize our QA approach. We count on your ideas and initiative to continuously improve our testing methodologies, tools, and overall development process.
• Ensure Clarity and Quality: You'll identify and document defects with precision using our bug tracking systems and participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback that elevates our overall code quality.

Your profile:
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a full-time QA role, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, integration).
• Automation & Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, PHP) and hands-on experience with modern E2E testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Agile & Collaborative Mindset: A flexible, creative, and solution-oriented approach. You thrive in an agile environment and believe in open, clear communication.
• Growth-Oriented Attitude: You view mistakes as valuable learning opportunities and are not afraid to ask questions, challenge the status quo, and learn from your experiences.
• Strong Foundation: Good understanding of ISEB/ISTQB standards, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), and web/mobile development concepts.
• Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English (at least B2 level), both written and spoken.

Bonus Points• Automotive Testing Experience: Proven experience in the automated testing of Android Automotive applications.
• Visual Testing Expertise: Significant experience with automated screenshot/visual regression testing tools (e.g., Roborazzi, Applitools).
• Unit Testing Familiarity: Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or PHPUnit.
