Scope of Role
As a member of the Product QA division -

• As a key member of the Product QA division, you are responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our SaaS applications. This role involves designing and executing performance tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance testing strategies tailored for SaaS environments.

• Develop and maintain test scripts using tools like JMeter, Locust.io, or Gatling.

• Conduct load, stress, and scalability tests to identify system bottlenecks.

• Monitor application performance using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or Dynatrace.

• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development and operations teams.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance considerations are integrated into the development lifecycle.

• Document test plans, procedures, and findings comprehensively.​

• Successfully multi-tasks across products/projects and on non-project assignments, by delivering on time.

• Should be a process gatekeeper to ensure that the team adheres to the standards and should highlight deviations, if any.

• Provides guidance and mentoring to junior folks.

Key Skills

• Performance Testing Tools: Proficiency in JMeter, Locust.io, Gatling, or similar tools.

• Monitoring & Analysis: Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or Dynatrace for real-time performance monitoring.

• Scripting & Programming: Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting.

• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• CI/CD Integration: Understanding of integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex systems and identify performance issues.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey performance issues and solutions effectively.​

• Ability to be observant and analytical.

• Good problem-solving skills.

Qualification

• Education: B.E/B.Tech (any relevant background).

• Experience: 4-7 years in software testing and quality assurance.

• Certifications (Good to Have): CSTE/CSQA/ISTQB-(CT-PT) certification.

• Experience working with Cloud applications or SaaS applications. (must have)

• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (must have)

• Experience working with JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner..etc

• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.(must have)

• Experience working with Splunk, Snowflake, Kafka, etc..(good to have)

• Hands-on experience in REST API Automation.(must have)

• Experience in API/Microservices Testing & Contract Testing.(must have)

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.(must have)

• Experience in Agile Scrum methodology.(must have)

• Hands-on experience in UI Automation. (good to have)

• Exposure to event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).(good to have)

• Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Postman.(good to have)

• Leveraging AI for Test Case Generation or AI-driven Testing .(good to have)
