Job Summary

Tekion is seeking an accomplished Automation QA Engineer-II with experience in Java, Selenium, and REST Assured, plus a foundation in data validation, machine learning, or data science. You will help extend Tekion’s automation capabilities by integrating AI, using agentic approaches, and leveraging MCP server frameworks to improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites in Java, using Selenium for UI and REST Assured for API regression, functional, and integration automation.

• Design and automate complex tests for data validation, end-to-end scenarios, and backend verification using advanced SQL queries and AI-driven techniques.

• Apply AI and ML approaches, such as predictive analytics for test selection, anomaly detection, and generative data, to make automation more effective and efficient.

• Use AI Agents and MCP servers to orchestrate, optimize, and scale automation execution and validation pipelines.

• Design adaptive, intelligent automation workflows using agentic methodologies in product delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, and product management) to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and standards for test automation.

• Mentor and support team members regarding best practices in Java, Selenium, REST Assured, and AI-augmented automation frameworks.

• Continuously improve AI integration into test automation, including self-healing, test case prioritization, and GPT-based solutions.

• Report, triage, and track defects using Agile tools, ensuring timely resolution; participate in code and test strategy reviews.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Automation QA using Java, Selenium, and REST Assured.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Completed coursework or certification in Data Science or Machine Learning (Coursera, edX, Udacity, etc.) or demonstrated experience applying AI/ML techniques to testing.

• Experience with data validation, backend/API testing, and strong SQL skills.

• Exposure to AI-enabled test automation (using AI Agents, MCP servers, or agentic approaches in testing pipelines).

• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-driven or generative AI solutions for automation (such as LLM test generation, test suite optimization, or self-healing tests).

• Familiarity with agent-based architectures and distributed automation management.

• Exposure to cloud environments, CI/CD, and version control tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).

• Experience in the automotive, enterprise SaaS, or comparable high-scale product domains.
