The QA Engineer position is focused on providing an excellent experience to our customers through fully understanding their requirements and working collaboratively with the technical architects, project management, and development teams to develop and implement solutions to meet the customers’ needs. Further, this position is expected to be an advocate for the quality of Blend360 services to our customers, leveraging and/or integrating with new QA products/technologies, and providing mentorship to develop junior QA engineers within Blend 360. 

Responsibilities 

• Coordinating with the development team to identify any potential issues in the design or development process that may impact the quality of the final product. 

• Validate data quality, model performance, and system functionality throughout all phases of the solution lifecycle

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure solution accuracy, reliability, and alignment with defined business and technical requirements.

• Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities 

• Contribute to architecture and design activities. 

• Evaluate business needs and objectives. 

• Seek alternative technology solutions to problems 

• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability 

• Collaborate with Data engineers, Architects, data scientists and business analysts 

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, or in a similar role

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, IT, or a related field

• English level B2 or higher

• Deep understanding of at least one object-oriented programming library (preferably Python)

• Strong SQL skills and good knowledge of SQL-based data warehouses and relational databases

• Intermediate or higher proficiency in PySpark

• General interest in technology with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and evolving requirements

• Familiarity with Azure services, including Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, and Key Vault

• Ability to communicate effectively with both developers and management, explaining the pros and cons of different technical approaches
