Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Automation QA to join our team and contribute to the success of our web and mobile projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automation testing methodologies and techniques, as well as experience with mobile and web Fintech and API testing.

Additionally, we are looking for someone with a basic/comfortable understanding of AI adoption on regular automation frameworks, for improving manual-to-automation TC conversion, and the optimization of tasks..

As a Senior Automation QA, you will be responsible for leading the Automation efforts, along with guiding the Manual QAs effort into translating pre-existing TCs into e2e flows that can be automatically executed from CI/CD pipelines. Since you will work closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of our products, it is necessary to have a comfortable attitude towards the English language and communicating with all level contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Automation initiative’s ownership (create and execute manual test cases, test plans, and test suites for web, mobile applications and API integrations).

- Identify and document defects and bugs, working closely with developers to resolve issues.

- Collaborate with the development team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

- Support bug triage processes.

- Conduct different methodologies of testing as required to identify potential issues and ensure overall product quality.

- Directly plan and develop, as well as maintaining, test scripts and test data.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and AI integration.

- Report test results and QA related metrics and issues.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in automation testing web and API integrations.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.

- Experience with test case management tools and defect tracking systems.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience running API testing utilizing tools such as Postman.

- Experience with mentoring and guiding other team members into Automation.

- Excellent communication, proficient English level, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

- Playwright and Maestro frameworks familiarity(YAML is key).

- Basic experience or exposure to fintech products, and security/authorization best practices.

- Versioning knowledge, that includes integration with pipelines and GIT activity.
